Carole Howard-Pasic, 85, on December 18, 2023

NORTH ATTLEBORO - Carole Howard-Pasic, 85, of 480 Broadway, North Attleboro, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 18, 2023, after a long illness at home.

Born on April 28, 1938 in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late Albert F. and Florence L. Clarke and resided in Wakefield, MA until moving to North Attleboro in 1958.

In 1955, she graduated from Wakefield High School. She earned a B.S. and M.B.A. in Business Administration from Bryant College, Smithfield, R.I. in 1979 and 1982 respectively.

Before retiring in 2007, she was employed at Thermalogic Corporation in Hudson, MA as a controller. She previously was employed at Raytheon Company in Waltham, MA and Augat, Inc. in Attleboro, MA.

She was the wife for 22 years of the late Roy J. Howard, Jr. who passed away in 2003 and she was the wife of the late Ronald M. Pasic who passed away in 2004. Carole was the mother of the late Steven R. Howard who passed away in December of 2012.

Carole was an active member of Grace Episcopal Church in North Attleboro serving on the Altar Guild and as a Eucharistic minister, as well as a member of the Bell Choir. She was past Co-Warden and served on the Vestry for several years.

Before retiring, Carole enjoyed outdoor sports including snow skiing, snowmobiling, and water skiing. She loved playing golf and bicycling along the ocean path in Falmouth, MA. She enjoyed attending events at Trinity Theater and the Providence Performing Arts Center in Providence, was fond of country line dancing, and was an avid listener of audio books. She was a member of the North Attleboro Hockomock Area YMCA where she exercised on a regular basis and was a member of a mixed bowling league at the North Attleboro Bowling Alley. At home, Carole was passionate about her flower gardens and spent many hours working around her yard.

Carole is lovingly remembered and survived by her son, Roy A. Howard, and his wife, Kyong-Mi, residing in Honolulu, HI.  She is also survived by her devoted, daughter, Karen Leblanc of North Attleboro, and her cherished daughter, Loren Chebator, and her husband Kevin of Cape Coral, FL.  Carole leaves behind a legacy of love in her 3 granddaughters:  Cyndi Pawlowicz of Bristol, New Hampshire, Rebeca Trudeau of Winter Haven, FL, and Jennifer Yandle of Cape Coral, FL, as well as her 3 grandsons: Daniel LeBlanc of Woonsocket, RI, Joseph LeBlanc of Woonsocket, RI, and Andrew Chebator of Saint Petersburg, FL.  Among her great-grandchildren are Stephanie Trudeau, Jacob Yandle, Aubrey Yandle, and Carson Yandle all of FL.  She also leaves 2 great-great- grandchildren.

Carole is also survived by her sister, Judith Barber of Plymouth, MA, her sister, Sybil Martino, and her husband, Robert of Nellysford, VA, and her brother, Alan Clarke, accompanied by his companion, Barbara Picard of Bellingham, MA. She was predeceased by her brother, Russell Clarke, but her memory lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Relatives and friends are most kindly invited to attend a celebration of Carole’s life, which will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024, beginning with a time for visitation from 12:00 to 12:45 PM at the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 1:00 PM in Grace Episcopal Church, 104 North Washington Street, North Attleboro, with the Reverend Kathy McAdams celebrating and a sermon given by the Reverend Mary Alice Sullivan. Interment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery and Arboretum in Attleboro Falls.
