NORTH ATTLEBORO - Judith Marie White, age 74, a cherished resident of North Attleboro, unexpectedly passed away at her home on Monday, December 11, 2023. She was the beloved fiancée of Thomas G. Gay of North Attleboro. Born on June 14, 1949, in Attleboro, MA, Judy was the loving daughter of the late Harold B. White and Mary L. (Marien) White. She grew up in North Attleboro, maintaining a special affection for her hometown—a true townie.
Judy graduated from Bishop Feehan High School in 1967, where she excelled as a cheerleader and was crowned prom queen. She continued her education, earning a degree from the Boston Children's Hospital School of Nursing. As a Registered Nurse, Judy had an illustrious career, offering compassionate care to sick children at Boston Children's Hospital and serving as a director at the Wrentham Developmental Center, where she cared for those with special needs. Her talent and dedication earned her admiration and praise from colleagues and patients alike.
Judy found joy in various pursuits, expressing her love for Cape Cod and the beach, with Provincetown and Truro holding special places in her heart. An avid fan of the Rolling Stones, she considered their concert the best she ever attended. Sundays were reserved for cheering on the New England Patriots, and she delighted in exploring her passion for food through dining out. Judy enjoyed Sunday drives and was known for her fun-loving spirit, making her a delightful presence to be around.
Above all, Judy's family held the utmost importance in her life. Adored by her family, she reciprocated that love wholeheartedly. She is survived by her beloved fiancé, Tom, and her devoted sons, Joshua V. Mullett and Jesse C. Mullett, both of North Attleboro. She is also survived by her dear sister Suzanne White Dearborn Monza of Laconia, NH, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, the late Harold B. White.
A celebration of Judy's life will take place on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, with a prayer service concluding the visitation at 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are warmly invited to attend this tribute to a life well-lived and to share in the memories of a remarkable woman.
