SOUTH ATTLEBORO - Janet E. Hull Auclair, age 75, of South Attleboro, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, October 29, 2023, with her loving husband, Paul J. Auclair, at her side. They were married on April 14, 1995, and their union was a testament to the enduring power of love.

Janet was born in New York, New York, on January 30, 1948, the daughter of the late Joseph Hull and Gloria (Bonesteel) Hull. However, South Attleboro held a special place in her heart, and she spent most of her life there. She graduated from Attleboro High School in 1966 and pursued her passion for nursing by attending the Rhode Island Hospital School of Nursing, where she earned her nursing license. Janet dedicated 38 years of her life to Rhode Island Hospital, making a significant impact in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) and the Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU).

Janet had a deep love for animals, a fact reflected in the countless dogs and cats she owned throughout her life. She generously supported various charities dedicated to the welfare of animals.

Cooking was another of Janet's great joys, and she was renowned for her culinary skills. She delighted in watching cooking shows on television and sharing her creations with family and friends. Above all, she treasured the time spent with her husband, Paul, creating cherished memories together.

Janet is survived by her twin sister, Mary, of South Carolina, her brothers Mark of North Attleboro, MA, and Leslie of Sandwich, MA, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

All services and interment will be held privately. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in her honor at her parish, Saint Theresa of the Child Jesus Church in South Attleboro.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Friends of the Attleboro Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 592, Attleboro, MA 02703, or at www.faaspets.org. Those who wish to honor her memory may also contribute to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090, or at www.alz.org.
