Richard J. Mobriant, 86, on October 11, 2023

CARVER - Richard J. Mobriant, 86, of Carver, MA, passed away on Wednesday, October 11th at the West Roxbury VA Medical Center surrounded by his loving daughters.

Born March 27, 1937 in North Attleboro MA, he was the son of the late Adelard and Lillian (Ewen) Mobriant.

Richard grew up in North Attleboro and lived there for many years before moving to Durhamville, NY then spending his time between St Petersburg, FL, and Carver, MA for the last 13 years.

He attended North Attleboro High School and worked as a foreman for Paddock Pool construction in New York before retiring.

As a young boy, he enjoyed many years as a boy scout.

Richard was a lifelong member of the North Attleboro Elks club and attended many father daughter dances there throughout the years. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed spending time with his family and working around his house and yard, always starting a new project. He enjoyed traveling to new places and old and enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley music.

He also loved spending time with his beloved dogs Cody and Ace who preceded him in death.

He is survived by his daughters Norma Malachowski of Warwick, RI, Sandra Roberts of Attleboro, MA, Sharyn Haskell of East Taunton, MA, and Richelle Wheeler of Harrisville, RI.

He was the father of the late Robyn Hagan.

He leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Richard was preceded in death by brothers Adelard, Jr., Billy, Jack, Gene and sisters Sylvia, Helen, and Janet.

A private graveside service will be held, at which time Richard will be laid to rest in Mount Hope Cemetery and Arboretum in North Attleboro. Relatives and friends are most kindly invited to attend a celebration of his life on Tuesday, October 24th at 5:00 PM at the Elks Club in North Attleboro.
