Michael Jay Ricks Michael Jay Ricks, 68, of North Attleboro, passed peacefully on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at HopeHealth Hospice and Palliative Care in Providence, with his wife, Tina Marlene Jenks Ricks, by his side, with whom he would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in November.
Born in Santa Rose, California on March 29, 1955, he was the son of the late Ernest Ricks and Leah Marie (Litsheim) Yegge and the late Delmar and Elizabeth (Gaisford) Poormon.
Michael was a partner in the company Solar Tech, Inc.; and also part owner of Spider Brand Products, a manufacturer of martial arts equipment. He was later employed as a medical assistant and a manager at Kiessling Transportation.
He is survived by his brothers-in-law, William E. Jenks and Alan A. Jenks, and his sister-in-law, Brenda Jenks, wife of the late Kenneth T. Jenks. He is also survived by his loved nieces and nephews, Elizabeth, Victoria, Alexander, Danielle, William, Norman, Desiree, AJ, Ryan and Nikki and grand nieces and grand nephews, Sophia, Braylen, Hadleigh, Bayleigh, Aiden, Orion, Odin, Alan and Mason.
At the request of Michael and his family, all services will be held privately.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, North Attleboro, MA.
