It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Wah Kit Yim at the age of 88 on September 30, 2023, at her residence in Plainville, MA. She was surrounded by her beloved family as she peacefully transitioned into eternal rest.

Born on December 29, 1934, Wah Kit Yim was a cherished matriarch, known for her unwavering love and devotion to her family. She was the beloved wife of Ming Do Yim and the loving younger sister of June Cho.

Wah's legacy of love and warmth extended to her five children: Raymond, Cindy, Stella, Ada, and Alan. She was a doting grandmother to twelve grandchildren: Derek, Jordan, Larry, Lowina, Louisa, Crystal, Kevin, Katie, Aadyn, Alex, Cora, and Tyler. Her love continued to flow to seven great-grandchildren: Brianne, Brendan, Anna, Ryder, Raidon, Carson, and Chase.

Wah was preceded in death by her siblings: Arthur Fong, Chan Wah Suen, Paul Fong, and Daniel Fong.

Throughout her life, Wah found immense joy in nurturing her family. She was the heart of countless family gatherings and celebrations, where her love shone brightly. Her passion for gardening and raising chickens brought her closer to nature, a reflection of her nurturing spirit.

Friends and family are most kindly invited to attend a funeral service in celebration of Wah's life on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at 11:30 AM in the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro. Interment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery and Arboretum, 565 Mount Hope Street, Attleboro Falls. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. This will be an opportunity to honor the cherished memories and the love that she shared with us all.
