FRANKLIN - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Gregory C. Roberts II, of Franklin, a vibrant and beloved young man, who left us all too soon at the age of 35 on Sunday, September 24, 2023, at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington, MA. Gregory was surrounded by his family as he peacefully transitioned into eternity. He was the beloved fiance of Jennifer Andrewzusky of Franklin.

Born on March 23, 1988, in Norwood, MA, Gregory was the cherished son of Gregory C. Roberts and the late Lynn A. (Greuling) Roberts. He spent his formative years in Plainville, MA, and graduated from Tri-County High School in 2007, where he honed his skills in the field of electrical work. Gregory embarked on a fulfilling career as a cement finisher and was a union member of Local 534. He was employed by Marguerite Concrete Company. His strong work ethic and attention to detail earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues and peers alike.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Greg possessed a heart filled with passion and joy. He was an unwavering supporter of Boston sports, with a particular devotion to the New England Patriots. His enthusiasm for the game was infectious and created memorable moments with fellow fans. Greg had an artistic soul and enjoyed the world of music. He found solace in the beauty of gardening, tending to a diverse array of flowers that bloomed with his love and care. Family was at the core of his existence, and he reveled in the warmth of family gatherings, where laughter and love abounded. Among Greg's most cherished roles was that of a doting uncle. He wholeheartedly adored his nieces and nephews, spending countless hours playing games and sharing stories with them. His ability to connect with the younger generation was a testament to his free spirit and boundless love. Greg's sense of humor was legendary. He had a unique gift for finding humor in every situation, offering laughter and light to all those fortunate enough to be in his presence. His smile was a beacon of happiness, a lasting memory etched in the hearts of those who knew him best. Nature held a special place in Greg's heart, and he relished visits to the beach, with Hampton Beach in New Hampshire being a particular favorite. He also found solace in watching boats sail through the picturesque Cape Cod Canal, finding serenity in the ebb and flow of the water.

In addition to his beloved fiancée, Jennifer, and his devoted father, Greg, Gregory is survived by his sisters - Chantele Crowther of Norton, Adrienne Crowther of Attleboro, and Rhyannon Amort and her husband Steve of Seekonk, and his brother Zachary Roberts and his wife Kaylee of Norfolk. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins who adored him.

In honoring Greg's memory, his family invites friends and loved ones to join them in attending a funeral service in celebration of his life that will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at 11:00 AM in Plainville Baptist Church, 62 South Street, Plainville. Interment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery and Arboretum, Mount Hope Street, North Attleboro. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM in the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro.
