North Attleboro – Thomas C Menyo, 63 of North Attleboro, devoted father of Christina and Brian Menyo, rejoins his loving wife Carol (Briggs) Menyo, passing suddenly on Friday, December 7, 2018.

 

Son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Irving) Menyo, Tom was born September 1, 1955 in North Charleroi, PA.  He was raised in the Jamaica Plain Neighborhood of Boston where he graduated from Boston High School in 1974.  After marrying his wife, the two settled in North Attleboro where they built their home and made countless memories with their children, family, friends and neighbors. 

 

Thomas was a member of the Local 218 where he worked as a Union Carpenter for many years before retirement. He was an avid boater who was at peace fishing the waters around New Bedford and off the coast of Gloucester. More recently he could be found vacationing in Florida and making local trips to Twin River and the Raynham dog track.

 

Thomas is also survived by five brothers Joseph Menyo of Pawtucket, Paul Menyo and wife Linda of Norwood, Robert Menyo and wife Sandra of Naragansett, RI, his twin brother David Menyo and wife Linda of West Roxbury, Ronald Menyo and wife Mary of North Attleboro; and many nieces and nephews. 

 

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, December 12 from 4-7 p.m. in the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro.  A funeral will be held from the funeral home on Thursday, December 13 at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass in St. Mary’s Church, 14 Park Street, North Attleboro at 10 o’clock.  Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Attleboro Falls.
