Theodore “Ted” Zaborski, 81, on April 3, 2024

Theodore “Ted” Zaborski, 81 of Attleboro, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 after a lengthy illness.

Born in Boston on August 11, 1942, he was the son of the late Walter and Jennie Zaborski.

After being raised in Dorchester he was a resident of West Roxbury, MA for over 40 years before moving to Attleboro 12 years ago.

Ted was a painter by trade. He worked throughout Massachusetts with the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades. While continuing his trade, he moved to the MBTA sign shop and eventually retired from there.

One of his favorite career memories was panting “Pat the Patriot” on the field of Sullivan Stadium before home games. He was an avid gardener, animal lover, New England sports fan and car racing enthusiast.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife Rosemarie (Gauthier) Zaborski of 53 years. He was also predeceased by his parents, his brother, Walter Zaborski and his sister Rosemary Matthews.

He leaves behind devoted daughter, Karen Coyle and her husband Sean of North Attleboro, MA. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Ryan Zaborski, Kelsey Coyle, Chloe Lynch and Jack Coyle and his great grandson Bradyen Zaborski. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cherished friends.
