Official Obituary of: Teri McCarthy

Teri McCarthy

Teri McCarthy, of Wrentham, transitioned to the spiritual world while surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer. Teri was a registered nurse for over 45 years. She was a lifelong music lover, her favorite was always the Beatles. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially her trips to Rangeley, Maine. She loved her family, and is now with her mother Ann, her father Charles and her brother Michael. Teri was one of a kind, a true individual who always had the strength and confidence to see and do things her own way. She is survived by her sister Louise, her brothers Stephen and Charles, her children Jessica Champagne and Matthew McCarthy, and her grandchildren Collin, Logan, and Joseph. She also leaves behind close friends and family, too many to be listed.

  • Teri was a very loving person with a beautiful, kind soul.  She always wanted the best life possible for the people she loved.  Teri was positive in her outlook, uplifting, spiritual and kind.  My favorite thing about Teri was her great sense of humor, how we always “got each other” and would crack up laughing at the same time. She was fiercely loyal concerning her family and friends, and we all loved her back the same way.  Teri’s name will always be engraved in my heart, and I will miss and love her always.  Jeannie Durian

  • Teri is a friend of my sister’s, but also a friend of my family’s and mine. She always had a kind and loving presence and a great sense of humor. She spent many weekends at my house and later on we spent time in Maine together. She was like a big sister to me and we grew closer as  I got older. I will miss her calming presence and beautiful smile and voice. I know she is alive in spirit and am glad she is free. I will miss her.

  • Teri was always a true free spirit and will be missed by all who knew her. Rest in peace,Teri. Love, Ed and Susan Sprissler
