Robert Anthony (Jones) Lynch 08/12/2020

Robert Anthony (Jones) Lynch, 27,  of Providence, RI was born on September 8, 1992 at Women and Infants Hospital. A son of Stanley J Lynch and Patricia Sullivan Lynch of Attleboro, he shares his birthday with his triplet siblings, Jennia Rose Lynch of Providence, RI and Andrew Jakob Amos Lynch of Attleboro, MA.

Rob attended Attleboro and Fall River Schools, graduating from Attleboro High School with the class of 2011. Learning did not end with graduation. Rob was endlessly curious about life, the world, and all areas of the sciences. He loved to read and research, writing about and discussing theories as he delved into each discipline.

Music was a huge part of Rob’s life. It was his passion. He composed music and wrote lyrics performing at many open mic shows and local venues starting in high school. A talented musician, he spoke through his music and shared his world with others. Rob found great satisfaction in his work. Starting at Amos House in Providence and then moving to Riverwood Mental Health Services in Warren, Rhode Island, Rob was able to help people who sometimes struggled with challenges in their lives. He was proud to be able to help find resources and strategies to improve their lives.

Along with his triplet siblings and parents, Rob leaves sisters Katherine Lynch, Meghan Lynch Ellis (Kenneth), Michaela Lynch-Nunez (Edison) and brothers Justin Lynch (Lacie) John, and Matthew. Also, sisters, Niecey (Shirley) Jones (Erik), Beverly Jones, Alexis Jones, Margaret Hodgson and brother John Jones and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

An evening memorial service is planned for Friday , September 4 at Sperry McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro, MA from 5pm to 8pm. The family is requesting those attending to strictly observe social distancing protocols and wear a mask. The number of people inside will be monitored and the family requests that no one gathers into groups. We understand the reservations many will have about attending and request that if you are compromised or at risk in any way please say a prayer, think a positive thought or perform a random act of kindness for a stranger instead of attending.

We have been abundantly blessed with our village of family and friends who have provided overwhelming love and support to us in this most difficult time. We feel it surrounding us and want you to remain safe and healthy. We know you are there. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to continue the work Robby was so excited about and make it possible to help even more people. Donations can be sent to: THRIVE Behavioral Health c/o Mary Torres 2756 Post Road Warwick, RI 02886
