Raymond Leo Gregoire, 79, on May 17, 2024

Raymond Leo Gregoire, 79, a resident of Plainville since 1986, formerly of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 17, 2024, at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Rosanna Racaza.

Lovingly known as Ray, he was born on July 8, 1944, in Pawtucket, RI, to the late Leo and Florence (Provost) Gregoire.

Ray proudly served his country in the United States Army and worked diligently throughout his life at Foxboro Company and Eagle. Beyond his professional endeavors, Ray was a Harley Davidson enthusiast, finding joy and relaxation on the open road. He was formerly a member of the Hog Association and Blackstone Valley Hog Association. He also enjoyed scuba diving and woodworking. His charismatic and lively spirit made him the life of the party, and he was cherished by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

In addition to his devoted spouse, Rosanna, Ray is survived by his son Michael Gregoire of Smithfield, RI, his daughter Kristen Albuquerque of Ocala, Florida, and his brother Ernest Gregoire of Attleboro, MA. He was the brother of the late Gerard Gregoire. His memory will forever be treasured by his family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleborough. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in his honor by Reverend David A. Costa on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 9:00 AM at Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church, 14 Park Street, North Attleborough. Interment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery and Arboretum, 565 Mount Hope Street, Attleboro Falls. Relatives and friends are most kindly invited to attend. The family requests that all those who will be attending the funeral please report directly to the church that morning. There will be no public procession leaving from the funeral home.

Ray’s legacy of love, joy, and camaraderie will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in peace.
