Rasvalda N. Harridon, 81, on April 15, 2024

Rasvalda N. Harridon, 81, of South Attleboro, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 15, 2024 at the Life Care Center of Attleboro.

Born in Spring Village, St. Catherine, Jamaica, on June 29, 1942, he was the cherished son of the late Arnold Harridon and Rimnel Watson.

Rasvalda dedicated many years of his life to his work at the Jamaica Broilers Processing Plant, where he served diligently in the cold storage department as a packaging and delivery operator until 1985. He also contributed his skills to a cargo shipping company, demonstrating his strong work ethic and commitment to his responsibilities.

In his leisure time, Rasvalda found joy in various activities, including wrestling, cricket, dominoes, and soccer (football). However, his most treasured moments were those shared with his beloved friends and family, where laughter and love filled the air.

He is survived by his devoted longtime companion, Telleta Whyne, and his children: Garfield, Mark, Joan, Dawna, Malverna, and Lorice. Rasvalda also leaves behind a legacy of love in his 21 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of other relatives and friends.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate Rasvalda’s life will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, located at 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro, MA. Visitation will take place from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, followed by a service commencing promptly at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held privately at Newell Burying Ground in South Attleboro.

Rasvalda’s kindness, warmth, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in eternal peace.
