Michael J. Famolle 🇺🇸, 75, on June 7, 2024

NORTH ATTLEBORO – Michael J. Famolle, 75, a resident of North Attleboro for over 30 years and formerly of Norwood, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 7, 2024, at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence, RI.

Born on October 11, 1948, in Norwood, MA, Michael was the loving son of the late James Famolle and Audrey (Quinlan) Famolle. He grew up in Norwood and graduated from Norwood High School in 1967. Michael proudly served his country in the United States Army National Guard and was honorably discharged on June 25, 1984, with the rank of Private Second Class after a decade of dedicated service.

Michael had a long and fulfilling career at Brooks Automotive, formerly known as CTI, until his retirement. In addition to his professional achievements, Michael was actively involved in his community, serving as a Representative at Town Meetings in North Attleboro.

An avid golfer, Michael enjoyed numerous golf trips with his friends, and he cherished the thrill of riding his Harley-Davidson. Fishing was another of his favorite pastimes, reflecting his love for the outdoors and adventure.

Michael is survived by his children: Jeffrey Famolle of Lincoln, RI; Michelle Abel and her husband, Joe, of Culver City, CA; and Jacob Morine and his companion, Tania Sabatino, of Woburn, MA. He was the grandfather to Madison Famolle, Zachary Famolle, Avery Sabatino, and Henry Abel, who brought immense joy to his life.

Friends and family are warmly invited to attend Michael’s funeral on Monday, June 17, 2024. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro. A funeral service celebrating Michael’s life will commence at 7:00 PM at the funeral home and will conclude with the rendering of United States Army National Guard honors in recognition of his service to the country. Interment will be held privately at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Michael’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association by mailing a check or money order to 225 N.   • I remember Mike as a loving husband to my sister in law Catherine. We shared some good times together with the family at cookouts. He will be missed by many.
