  • Leah … I just happened to come across this. I am so sorry for your loss. I never forgot how your eyes always lighted up with joy when you talked about Michael. I also remember that you had a loving supportive family. At times like this, that it is even more important. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers.

  • In the brief time I knew Michael during his tenure with HUD, I saw him present the  same spirit and grace by which his Dad/my friend Alan has always carried himself.  Michael did not squander the examples set for him by his parents Alan and Leah.  He instead used that foundation to establish himself as someone who was widely respected by all who knew him.  Although my dealings with Michael were solely in the working world, it is obvious from other comments I’ve read that he was as exemplary a son, husband and father as he was a hard working professional.  May he rest in peace and may his family be comforted by the love, thoughts and prayers of friends during this difficult time.

  • So very sorry to learn about Michael’s death. Sending hugs and prayers Aunt Zita Boudreault and families from Prince Edward Island . May he Rest In Peace, love and prayers in this most difficult time.

  • Our hearts are heavy here on Prince Edward Island after hearing of the passing of Michael.  He fought so hard to stay here.  Knowing his parents and sister, and the love and admiration they have for him, reinforces for me what a wonderfully courageous young man he was.  He was an exceptional husband and father, we hear, which is not surprising given the example set by his own father.  We are sure that Candace was and is surrounded by the love of her in laws who repeatedly told us how they loved her and that she was an incredible example of love and undying commitment to Michael.  May we, in a small way, carry your burden in prayer and requests to God for His Mercy.  Elaine Black and family

  • What a beautiful man Michael was. I wish I could have met him. May your fond memories of him carry you through this most difficult time. God grant you His peace.

  • We are so sorry for the loss of Mike, a wonderful husband, son, father and friend.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you grieve his loss.  May God watch over your family and draw you close to Him with peace and love.  “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, He rescues those whose spirits are crushed.” Psalms 34:18
