  • I am hoping that Melissa’s family will read this. On New Year’s Eve one year ago, my husband and I ate dinner at The Gristmill. Melissa was our server. By the end of the meal, we had formed an attachment to your beautiful, sweet, attentive daughter. Because of the wrist brace she wore, we learned that we both had RA. Over the coming months, we requested Melissa to be our server each time we visited The Gristmill. We really thought of her as our family. We loved her and are terribly shocked and saddened to learn of her passing. Please accept our deepest sympathy as we too mourn the loss of such a beautiful, kind person.
