Their home was the heart of many gatherings, filled with family, friends, and joyful activities. Known for their love of fun, they hosted frequent get-togethers featuring delicious food, especially Lea’s famous clamcakes, along with card games and laughter.

At Sacred Heart Parish in North Attleboro, she served as the president of the Ladies of Saint Anne Society and was Sacred Heart School’s first hired lay teacher, where she taught third grade. Dear Lea was such a warm, welcoming person! My name is Loretta Lapierre, wife of the late Armand Lapierre and nephew of her husband, Leo. I wish I had known that she was at Madonna Manor since Armand was there as well until 2018 and his death. On one visit Lea served us cake with “rocky road “ frosting and I had to have the recipe!. I will keep you all in my prayers – you have lost a treasure. I’m living at Christopher Heights in Attleboro. Love to all the family! Loretta MacDougald Lapierre.
  • My sympathies to the entire Meunier family. I remember Lea from Sacred Heart school where Robert was a classmate of mine.
