John J. St. Lawrence, 81, on February 13, 2024

John Joseph St. Lawrence, a resident of North Attleboro, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on February 13, 2024.

He was born on August 22, 1942, in North Attleboro to Joseph A. St. Lawrence and Olive (Blade) Farber.

John leaves behind his devoted wife of 54 years, Rosemary (Domenici) St. Lawrence. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

A proud father, John is survived by his sons Shon St. Lawrence and his wife Michelle St. Lawrence of North Attleboro, and AJ St. Lawrence of Foxboro. He was a loving grandfather to Ryan St. Lawrence, Eli St. Lawrence, and Dylan St. Lawrence.

In addition to his immediate family, John is also survived by his sister Joanne Dion and brother Walter St. Lawrence, both of North Attleboro, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.

John served his country with honor as a helicopter mechanic in the Army before embarking on a fulfilling career as a union carpenter, retiring after 30 years of dedicated service. He was an active member of the Wrentham Sportsman Club and found joy in the camaraderie of fellow members.

John will be fondly remembered for his passion for dancing, especially with his beloved wife Rosie to the tunes of the oldies. In retirement, he pursued his interests with gusto, whether clamming in Chatham, fishing, beekeeping, riding motorcycles, or indulging in his hobby of collecting and tinkering with various items.

His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched with his kindness, humor, and zest for life.

His funeral, to which relatives and friends are most warmly invited to attend, will be held on Sunday, February 18, 2024, beginning with a time for visitation from 2:00 to 4:00 PM in the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro, followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 4:00 PM. United States Army honors will be rendered at the conclusion of the service. Interment will be held privately at a later date.
