June Chamillard passed away peacefully on January 5, 2023 after a period of declining health.

Born in Attleboro on June 26, 1940, June was the daughter of the late Donald Cassidy and Elizabeth (Leonard) Cassidy.

A graduate of Norton High School and Cape Cod Community College, June worked as an administrative assistant. She also served as a volunteer at different animal rescues and shelters.

June is survived by her children Debra Paiva of Wareham, Donna Johnson and her husband Douglas of Norton, David Chamillard and his wife Deni of Tucson, AZ, and Albert Chamillard of Tucson, AZ, her siblings Janice Wilson, Michael Cassidy, Patrick Cassidy, Bruce Cassidy, and Patti Barlanti, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and her stepmother Barbara Cassidy.

June's family offers special thanks to the staff of Sippican Healthcare and Southcoast Hospice for the loving and compassionate care provided in her final days.

A time for visitation will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 12:00 until 1:30 PM in the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro. A memorial service in celebration of June's life will be held in the funeral home at the conclusion of the visitation, beginning promptly at 1:30 PM with the Reverend Pamela Corcoran officiating. Relatives and friends are most warmly invited to attend.
