John J. "Jack" Conlon, Jr., 85, on November 15, 2022

John J. “Jack” Conlon, Jr. of Plainville, MA and Palm City, FL, formerly of Walpole, MA passed away at home on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at the age of 85, surrounded by his beloved wife of 64 years, Charlotte (Burke) Conlon and his four children.

Born in South Boston, MA on November 3, 1937, he was the loving son of the late John J. Conlon and Helen V. (Lyons) Conlon. He was the nephew of the late Joseph and Anna (Lyons) Harty also of South Boston.

Jack was a master electrician and a proud member of Boston’s IBEW Local 103 for 65 years. He and Charlotte owned the former Jack’s Restaurant in Walpole, a small diner that he remodeled, which employed his children and many of their friends.

Jack’s passions included: dancing, traveling to 35 states, playing golf with his many friends, wintering in Florida, holidays and special occasions with family, and watching wildlife outside of his kitchen window.

In addition to his wife, Charlotte, he is survived by his four devoted children: John Conlon and his partner Alison Carvounis of Eastham, Paul Conlon of Plainville, Ellen Nally and her husband Mark of Seabrook, NH, and Kevin Conlon and his wife Brenda of Wrentham. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren: Andrew Nally, Emily MacRae, Callie Conlon, Jack Conlon, Kevin Conlon Jr., Katie Conlon, Kristina Conlon and one great-grandchild, Chloe Nally. He was a friend of Bill W. for over 50 years.

Visitation, to which relatives and friends are most kindly invited to attend, will be held on Sunday. November 20, 2022 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM in the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in his honor on Monday, November 21, 2022 at 2:00 PM in Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church, 14 Park Street, North Attleboro. Jack will be laid to rest on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 1:00 PM at which time interment will take place in Saint Peter’s Cemetery, Jerome Smith Road, Provincetown, MA.
