SOUTH ATTLEBORO – Thomas R. Dulac, 85, of South Attleboro passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton.  He was longtime partner of the late Roland Labonte and husband of the late Luis “Papo” Melendez.

Born January 7, 1937 in Skowhegan, ME, he was a son of the late Ernest and Irene (Thibodeau) Dulac.

Thomas grew up in Brooklyn, NY and attended George Washington High School there.  He served in the US Marines as a medic in the Korean War and Vietnam, attaining the rank of corporal.

He worked for Cumberland Engineering for 31 years as an inspector before retiring.

Tom loved shopping and dining out.  He also enjoyed slot machines, particularly at Turning Stone Casino in Verona, NY.

He loved his dogs and other pets and enjoying coffee on his backyard patio.

Tom is survived by his best friends: Janet Papineau of Attleboro and Paul Ramaglia and Marc Carignan of Johnston, RI.

Also his beloved dog, Cynda.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, September 3 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Sperry  & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro.  A service will be held at the conclusion of visitation at 10:30 in the funeral home with burial at St. Stephen’s Cemetery in Attleboro.
