Carmella "Connie" Brown, 95, on August 18, 2022

NORTH ATTLEBORO – Carmella C. “Connie” Brown, 95, of North Attleboro passed away early Thursday morning, August 18, 2022 at home surrounded by her family.  She was wife of the late Frederick Brown for 40 years before he passed in 1987.

Born August 13, 1927 in North Attleboro, she was daughter of the late Joseph and Nuncia (Nardelli) Pacelli.  A lifelong resident of North Attleboro, most of it in the Attleboro Falls neighborhood.

Connie was a bench leader for Donley Manufacturing for 29 years before retiring after five years at Leach and Gardner at age 66.

She loved camping and camped all around Northern New England and New York.  When she was younger, she enjoyed square dancing on Saturday nights and was a member of the “Side Splitters”.

She also loved going to the casinos and particularly loved playing the slot machines at Twin Rivers and was an avid reader.

Connie was an active member of the Oldtowne (1st Congregational) Church in North Attleboro where she served on the Women’s Guild for many years.

She is survived by four children:  Frederick E. Brown, Jr. and wife Ann Marie of North Attleboro, Marsha A. Reum and husband Wayne of Montana, Judy M. Place of North Attleboro and Karen L. Brown of North Attleboro;

She’s sister of Mary B. Bishop of North Attleboro and also survived by 6 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.  She was a sister of the late Domenic J. Pacelli and Louis Pacelli.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, August 21 from 3-6 p.m. at Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro.

A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Monday, August 22 at 10 a.m. followed by burial at Paine Road Cemetery, North Attleboro.
