Charles "Chuck" M. Ferreira, Jr. on August 7, 2022

Charles (Chuck) M. Ferreira, Jr of Attleboro, MA passed away peacefully at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at the age of 72. He was the beloved husband of Priscilla (Hancock) Ferreira of Attleboro.

Born in Attleboro on May 7, 1950, he was the loving son of the late Charles M. and Aldina Ferreira.

Chuck grew up in Attleboro and was a 1968 graduate of Attleboro High School. In 1975 he started a construction business, Ferreira Builders, Inc, and operated successfully for over 40 years. Many custom homes and log cabins that Chuck built can be seen around Attleboro and surrounding towns.

Chuck was a former member of the Wrentham Sportsmans Club, the Seekonk Rod and Gun Club, and the Massachusetts Builders' Association. He was an avid archer and bowhunter and a classic car show enthusiast. Chuck also passed along his knowledge and love of construction and building by teaching a Home Construction course at the former Wentworth Institute in Plainville.

Besides his wife of 36 years, he is survived by his daughter, Kim Marino and her husband, Bob, of Portsmouth, NH, his brother Steve and his wife, Ann, of Assonet, his stepson, Barry Carter of Attleboro, and his stepdaughter, Kelly Parker, and her husband, Paul, of Attleboro. He leaves behind his grandchildren, Jill Carter, Will Carter, Jake Parker, Nathan Parker, Owen Parker, Iris Marino and George Marino.  

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made in Chuck's name to the Attleboro Norton YMCA Delay the Disease program, 63 North Main Street, Attleboro MA 02703, or to the Attleboro Council on Aging, 25 South Main Street, Attleboro, MA 02703.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation service on Thursday, August 18, 2022 from 3:00 – 6:00pm at the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro. A funeral service will be held at the conclusion of visitation at 6:00pm.
