Elton B. Fisher, 81, on August 4, 2022

NORTH ATTLEBORO – Elton B. Fisher III, 81, of North Attleboro, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Milford Regional Medical Center in Milford, MA. He was the beloved husband of 44 years to the late Gail (Eccles) Fisher, who passed away in 2005.

Born in Attleboro, MA on September 20, 1940, he was a loving son of the late Elton B. Fisher II and Ethel (Gay) Fisher.

Elton grew up in North Attleboro and was a 1960 graduate of North Attleboro High School.  He was a longtime employee of W.H. Riley, retiring after 38 years with the company. Elton was a charter member of the MDDFF, a prior member of the Wrentham Sportsman Club and the Retread Motorcycle Club. A true outdoorsman, he liked to fish and enjoyed camping with his family all throughout New England. He went fishing at the Canadian border annually for 52 years.

He is survived by his devoted son, Todd Fisher and his wife Kimberly of Uxbridge. He leaves his cherished grandsons, Zachary Fisher and William Fisher, both of Uxbridge. He was the dear brother of Linda Boyle and her husband Richard of North Attleboro, David Fisher and his wife Josie of Naples, FL and Gertrude Cartier of North Attleboro. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.

He was the father of the late, Gary Fisher and brother of the late Judy Bulkeley and Susan Kane.

Visitation, to which relatives and friends are most kindly invited to attend, will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 9:00-11:00 AM in the Sperry McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro. A funeral service will be held at the conclusion of visitation, beginning promptly at 11:00 AM.

Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery and Arboretum in North Attleboro.
