Mary F. Donovan, 71, on June 25, 2022

ATTLEBORO – Mary F. (Lambert) Donovan, 71, a resident of Attleboro for the past 32 years, passed away
peacefully on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. She was the beloved
wife of John J. Donovan of Attleboro.
Born in Norwood, MA on January 8, 1951, she was a loving daughter of Marion Y. (Santoro) Lambert of
Cataumet and the late Raymond E. Lambert.
Mary was a 1969 graduate of Bishop Feehan High School and went on to attend Falkner Nursing School,
where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
As a Registered Nurse, she was employed by Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, the Attleboro
Visiting Nurses, and Life Care Center of Attleboro.
In addition to her husband of 32 years, John and her mother, Marion, she is survived by her devoted
children: Benjamin Bowes and his wife Katrina of Attleboro; Joshua Bowes and his wife Alana of
Attleboro; Rebecca J. Bowes and her friend Matthew of Connecticut; and Christopher Bowes of South
Carolina. She leaves her cherished grandchildren: William and Seth Bowes of Attleboro, Alyssa Bowes of
Attleboro, and also leaves her great granddaughters, Stella and Ivy of Attleboro. She was the dear sister
of Raymond Lambert and his wife Joyce, Joseph Lambert and his wife Doreen, John Lambert and his wife
Jody, Paul Lambert and his wife Susan, Anne Marie Lambert and her husband Anton Granger, Patricia
Hopf and her husband Mark, Christine Prescott and her husband Eric, Frances Rebello and her husband
Steven, and Kathleen Randazzo and her husband Salvatore. She was the sister-in-law of Deborah
Lambert and also leaves many nephews, nieces and great nephews and great nieces.
She was the sister of the late Peter Lambert and James Lambert.
Visitation, to which relatives and friends are most kindly invited to attend, will be held on Friday, July 1,
2022, from 3-5:30 PM in the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro. A prayer
service will be held at the conclusion of visitation, beginning promptly at 5:30 PM. Interment will be held
privately at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Mary’s name to a charity of one’s choice.
