PLAINVILLE – Robert M. Goddard, 54, of Plainville passed away Friday, June 24, 2022 unexpectedly at home.
Born January 25, 1968 in Oldenburg, Germany to Robert E. Goddard and Brigitte (Neotzel) Goddard of Attleboro.
Robert grew up in Plainville and attended King Philip High School in Wrentham. He lived in Mansfield for 10 years before moving to Plainville in 1979.
He was currently employed with McNamara Trucking in Walpole as a Heavy Equipment Operator.
Robert was a lover of technology, he never went anywhere without his tablet. He had a passion for cars, motor sports, drag racing, gaming and he loved his career but his biggest passion and joy in his life was his son Robert.
Robert was predeceased by his father Robert E Goddard. He is survived by his mother Brigitte (Neotzel) Goddard of Attleboro, his son Robert S Goddard, Ramstein Air Base, Ramstein Germany; a brother, Michael P. Goddard and his significant other Mary Murphy of Attleboro; a nephew, Michael A. Goddard of Attleboro; aunts and uncles Lynn and Dave McGee of Attleboro and Jimmy and Joyce Vitello of Whitinsville, several cousins and many friends.
There will be a celebration of Life July 10, 2022. Further details will be forthcoming.
