Sandra "Sandy" Siddall on April 14, 2022

  • ATTLEBORO - Sandra “Sandy,” “San,” “Nana,” E.E.” (Seyboth) Siddall, longtime resident of Attleboro, passed away peacefully at Life Care Center of Attleboro with family by her side on Thursday, April 14, 2022. Daughter of the late Frank C. Seyboth and Maria (Tomlinson) Seyboth of Attleboro, Sandy was a graduate of Attleboro High School and Katherine Gibbs School in Providence, Rhode Island. She was a member of Hope Chapter Order of Eastern Star for over 45 years.

She met the love of her life, John A. “Jack” Siddall, while she was a freshman in high school. They married in 1957 and would have celebrated their 65th anniversary in June.  She was so proud to have been a “June Bride.” Together they owned and operated Swanton’s Furniture in Attleboro for many years, where she would eventually become known as “the Beanie Baby Lady.”

When not working at the store, she spent time traveling to Cape Cod, Fort Meyers, FL, and Amish Country, PA. She also enjoyed seeing new sights through Bristol County Savings Bank’s Prime Time outings and puttering around in her little red Volkswagen, “Betsy.” Other pastimes included quilting, gardening, shopping, playing card games, and above all else, spending time with her beloved family.

In addition to her husband Jack, Sandy is survived by her daughter, Jill Vigorito and her husband Tim of Attleboro. She also leaves behind her granddaughter, Jennifer Turner, her husband Nate, and great-grandsons Aiden and Cameron of Attleboro; grandson Brad Vigorito of Boston; sister Judy (Charlie) Agar of Attleboro; and niece Kristen (Eric) Carr and their children of Needham. Sandy was the sister of the late Frank C. Seyboth, Jr.

Her family wishes to thank Dr. Steve Bensson, Patty Moore, and the staff at Life Care Center of Attleboro, who provided Sandy with exceptional care at the end of her life.

Visitation, to which relatives and friends are most kindly invited to attend, will be held on Monday, April 25, 2022 from 5 to 7 PM in the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro. Her funeral service will be held privately for family on Tuesday.

  • Interment will be held privately at Oak Knoll Cemetery in Rehoboth.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sandy’s memory to Life Care Center of Attleboro’s Patient Activities Fund and the Sturdy Memorial Foundation.
