Harold Stepanovitch on January 16, 2022

Harold Stepanovitch, 91, of Santee, CA, formerly of Plainville passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022. He was the beloved husband of the late Helma (Muller) Stepanovitch.

Born in Boston on October 5, 1930, he was a loving son of the late Fredrick and Elsa (Gailit) Stepanovitch.

A proud veteran of the Korean War, Harold enlisted in the United States Army and served in the 7th Division 32nd Infantry Regiment. He was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant.

Harold loved traveling, gardening, birdwatching, crossword puzzles, card games and chess. He loved hugs, kisses, and good food – especially dessert. Every cookie was his favorite.

He is survived by his three devoted daughters: Heidi Stepanovitch, Viktoria Helen King, and Heather Griffin and her husband Mark. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren: Kimberly, Skye, Rachael, River, Joshua, Madison, Nathanael, and Sarah. He also leaves his great-grandchildren: Owen and Felicity.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 11 AM in the Evangelical Covenant Church, 841 North Main Street, Attleboro, MA.

Interment will follow in North Purchase Cemetery, Attleboro, MA.
