Glenn Richard Stumpenhagen, 59, on February 18, 2022

NORTH ATTLEBORO – Glenn Richard Stumpenhagen, 59, of North Attleboro, passed away Friday, February 18, 2022 at home.  

Born March 27, 1962 in New York City, he was a son of the late Helmut and Margaret (Zilinsky) Stumpenhagen. 

Glenn grew up in Farmingville on Long Island, NY and was a graduate of Sachem High School there. He received a BS at Syracuse University and later an MBA from the University of Rhode Island. 

He’s worked as manager of store operations and planning at the TJX Corporation for the past 26 years. 

Glenn loved museums, history and old war movies. He was also a big fan of the New England Patriots and enjoyed playing the saxophone. 

He is survived by his fiancee, Amy Gottlieb of North Attleboro; two children, Richard and fiancee Sophie of North Attleboro and Kathryn Stumpenhagen of Plainville and Amy’s daughter, Brittany Gottlieb of North Attleboro. He was brother of the late Edna Papandrea-Sloan. 

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, February 24 from 4-7 p.m. at Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro. A collation will be held following the conclusion of visitation at at 7:30 p.m. at Evivva Trattoria, 15 K Ledgeview Way, Wrentham, MA 02093.
