ATTLEBORO – Peter E. McNamee, 61, of South Main Street passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Miriam Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. He was the beloved husband of Sue (Viles) McNamee for nearly 35 years.
Born January 20, 1961, he was a son of the late Joseph and Phyllis (Walker) McNamee.
Peter was a longtime resident of North Attleboro before moving to Attleboro six years ago.
He worked as a model maker at Herff Jones in Warwick, RI for the past ten years and previously worked at Masters of Design in Attleboro Falls for many years.
Peter was an avid outdoorsman, and loved fishing. Particularly on Lake Winnipesauke in New Hampshire. He also loved the Bruins, Patriots, playing video games and poker.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Kayla McNamee of Attleboro and one son, James McNamee and his significant other, Sarah Mitty of Brooklyn, NY;
Five siblings: Barbara Lund, Joseph McNamee, Kathy Shea, Paul McNamee, Tricia McNamee and was brother of the late James McNamee.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, February 15 from 4-7 p.m. at Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro.
