Nancy E. (Ripley) Laviolette, of Attleboro, passed away at Sturdy Memorial Hospital on Monday, Jan. 24, 2022 with her loving husband, Richard, and devoted son, Brett, by her side. She was 67.
Nancy was born in Norwood on Jun. 1, 1954, to the late Walter “Walt” Ripley Sr. and the late Mary (Sullivan) Ripley.
Raised and educated in North Attleboro, Nancy graduated from North Attleboro High School in 1972. Nancy did many things over the years and she poured her heart and soul into all of them. What always made her the happiest was spending time, talking and laughing with family and friends. This was especially true of her soul mate, Richard, who she married and spent 43 wonderful years with.
Nancy’s beautiful smile and trademark laugh warmed the hearts of everyone she met. She will be dearly missed by all.
Nancy is survived by husband, Richard Laviolette; son, Brett Laviolette; brother, Robert Van Ness; extended family and friends.
Nancy was the sister of the late Raymond Ripley, the late Allen “Rip” Ripley and the late Walter “Skipper” Ripley Jr.
Family and friends are invited for visitation on Thursday, Feb. 3, 2022 from 3 to 6 PM at Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove St., North Attleboro, with a memorial service at 6 PM at the funeral home. The memorial service will be streamed on the Sperry & McHoul Facebook page for those who cannot participate in person.
