Theresa “Terry” M. (Gagnon) Young, 94, died January 25, 2022, after a period of failing health.
She was born in Pawtucket, RI on June 26, 1927, to Aldea (Fontaine) and Joseph Gagnon. She was a life-long resident of N. Attleboro and attended local schools. She retired from International Packaging in 1992.
She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to all.
Family members include her son, Jon S. Young and his wife,Nancy, of Auburn, NH; her sister, Yvonne Connors and her husband, Hank, of Barrington, RI and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She also leaves her grandsons, Douglas Young and Sean Miller and their families. She was predeceased by her daughter, Pamela (Young) Miller and a grandson, Matthew Miller, both of Moscow, ME and two brothers, Roland and Arthur Fontaine and a sister, Julie Orabona.
Visitation, to which relatives and friends are most kindly invited to attend, will take place on Monday, January 31, 2022, from 5-7 PM with a memorial service at 6:30 PM, officiated by Rev. Pamela Corcoran.
Inurnment will be at Notre Dame Cemetery in Pawtucket, RI, at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you send a donation to the charity of your choice.
