Margaret E. (Grosz) Brown, 96, on November 30, 2021

NORTH ATTLEBORO – Margaret Ellie (Grosz) Brown, age 96, of North Attleboro passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2021 at Madonna Manor after a short illness.  Born in Adams, MA on February 20, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Adam Grosz and Ellie (Dupuis) Grosz.  During her senior year at Adams High School, she and her family moved to North Attleboro where she resided the rest of her life.

Peggy started working at Manufacturer’s National Bank and retired from Bay Bank after 32 years.  After retiring from the bank she missed seeing people and went to work at the Town of North Attleboro Treasurer’s Office until she was 74.

Peggy enjoyed the ocean, doing puzzles, a good game of cribbage and her favorite card game of Quiddler.  She liked talking on the phone, watching the birds and chipmunks on her patio and she especially enjoyed raising a glass with a friend.

She is survived by her two daughters, Karen A. Egan and Linda J. Bell both of North Attleboro.  She was predeceased by her siblings John Grosz of Washington, Max Grosz of Alabama, William Grosz and Mary Grosz both of North Attleboro.

Services will be private with burial at South View Cemetery in North Adams, MA under the direction of Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro.
