PLAINVILLE – Allie “Pete” McAlpine, 99, passed peacefully surrounded by her family and friends at Milford Center on Saturday, November 20, 2021.
She was the wife of the late Donald McAlpine.
Born June 1, 1922 in Cape Chaffee, Missouri, she was a daughter of the late Leslie and Philomena Lankford.
She is survived by her son, Bruce McAlpine and his partner Cindi Burns; two granddaughters: Lori Bush and Katherine “Katie” Brogan and her husband, Erik; two grandsons Cameron Bush and James “L.J.” Grzesiak and one great great-grandson, Bennett Bush.
Pete loved being outside with her family, having cookouts and drinking her little glass of beer. Her family was her greatest joy and she will be greatly missed. We love you Nana.
To have been such a little tiny person could barely see over the steering wheel of her car she was a force to be reckoned with. She has made a big imprint on this earth.
