NORTH ATTLEBORO - Carol Ann Goddard, 85, of Fales Road passed away Thursday evening, November 4, 2021 at the Holiday Retirement Home in Rhode Island. She was the wife of the late Frederick W. Goddard and shared 33 years of marriage together before Fred’s passing on June 11, 1994.
Born October 15, 1936 in Attleboro, she was a daughter of the late Sidney and Margaret (Duffy) Lindstrom.
Carol Ann grew up in Attleboro and was a 1954 graduate of Attleboro High School. She was a resident of North Attleboro since 1970 and worked as an office manager at Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. for 35 years before retiring in 1996. After retirement, she spent her summers in Little Compton, RI and the rest of the year between North Attleboro and Florida.
She was a member of the MetLife Veteran’s Association and a former member of the Business and Professional Women’s Club in Attleboro.
She is survived by two children: Michael J. Goddard and Lisa E. Cornell both of North Attleboro, MA.
Also survived by 2 grandchildren: Megan T. Cornell of Hudson, MA and Katherine (K Lou) Cornell of Providence, RI.
A memorial service will be held at Grace Episcopal Church, 104 North Washinton Street, North Attleboro on Saturday, November 20th at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery & Arboretum, Attleboro Falls.
