Priscilla E. Mello on October 16, 2021

North Attleboro- Priscilla E. (Piccirilli) Mello, 89, of Lowe Meadow Lane passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence.  She was the beloved wife of the late Fred J. Mello who passed in 2003 and to whom she was married on May 14, 1955.

Born, April 17, 1932 in Barrington, RI, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Elvira (DeBiase) Piccirilli.

Priscilla grew up in Barrington, RI and was a 1950 graduate of Barrington High School and then went on to receive her Certificate in Hair Design from the Arthur Angelo School.  She was employed as a hair stylist until 1968.

She resided in Barrington most of her life until moving to North Attleboro in 2003.

Priscilla was an avid tennis player for many years and was a member of the Court Tennis Club in Riverside, RI.  She enjoyed vacations with friends and family in Florida, New Hampshire, and on many cruises. She greatly adored spending time in the company of family at the holidays and other family gatherings, and most of all she enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren, always there to cheer them on at their swim matches and hockey games.

Priscilla is survived by her daughter, Priscilla A. Sharpe and her husband Scott of North Attleboro; her grandchildren:  Caroline Ulrich and Christopher Ulrich; her sisters Gloria San Antonio and her husband Louis of Exeter, RI and Ann Pare of Warren, RI and many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sister Barbara Gallant and her husband Joseph Gallant and her brother-in-law Albert Pare.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 22, 2021 in Holy Angels Catholic Church, 341 Maple Avenue, Barrington, RI at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are most kindly invited to attend.

Interment will be held privately at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Providence, RI.
