Kelley F. Phipps, 66, on October 15, 2021

PLAINVILLE – Kelley F. Phipps, 66, of Sunset Acres passed away Friday, October 15, 2021 after a brief illness surrounded by his devoted family.  He was the loving husband of Paula (Petti) Phipps for 43 years.

Born May 30, 1955 in Attleboro, he was a son of the late Frankland and Mary E. Hope Kelley.

Kelley grew up in North Attleboro and has been a resident of Plainville for the past seven years.

He attended North Attleboro High School and served as a U.S. Marine, living in San Clemente, CA while stationed at Camp Pendleton.

Kelley retired as a foreman for the North Attleboro Parks and Recreation Department seven years ago.

He was a lifetime member of the Elks in North Attleboro and loved spending time socializing with family and friends, especially at “The Barn”.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Jaclyn Gikis and husband Michael of Attleboro and their children: Brock and Vincent Gikis; three siblings: brother Timothy Phipps of Sagamore, his twin sister Patricia Phipps of Plainville and June Barrett of Franklin; and many nieces and nephews.  He was brother of the late Stephen Phipps.

Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, October 20 from 4-8 p.m. at Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro.  A burial will be held on Thursday, October 21 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Attleboro Falls.
