FALL RIVER – Garry E. Flaherty, 44, of Fall River passed away unexpectedly on October 6, 2021.
Born December 2, 1976 in Brockton, he was a son of Celine (Johnson) Flaherty of Brockton and the late Edward Thomas Flaherty.
Garry was a former resident of Plainville and earned a BA from the University of Southern Mississippi where he played college football and later a MA in Human Resources and Labor Relations from the University of Rhode Island.
He was currently Human Resource Manager at Channel Fish Processing in Braintree.
He was a fan of the New England Patriots and college football and was a history enthusiast who was an avid reader of historical, particularly World War II biographies. He also enjoyed repairing electronics and was a CB radio enthusiast.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his three daughters: Ashlynn Paige Flaherty of Lenoir, NC, Madisen Grace Flaherty of Plainville and Reagan Jean Flaherty of Plainville and his former spouse Shannon Flaherty of Plainville.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, October 13 from 5-7 p.m. at Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro. A funeral service will be held at the conclusion of visitation at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
