PLAINVILLE – Edna May Ronhock, 90, of Plainville passed Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital surrounded by her devoted family.  She was the loving wife of William J. Ronhock for 59 years until his death in 2011.

Born November 18, 1930 in North Attleboro, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Immaculata (Larose) Prien.

Edna grew up in North Attleboro and has been a resident of Plainville since 1959.

She worked as a homemaker, caring for her four children and loved cooking.  She also enjoyed gardening, crafts and sewing.

She is survived by three children: Michael and wife Teresa Ronhock of Mashpee, Scott of North Attleboro and Sheryl and husband Justin St. Pierre of New Bedford;

Three grandchildren: Kylie Marie, Kevin and Amanda; and two great-grandchildren: Austin and Lillian.

She was mother of the late Marc Ronhock, grandmother of the late Jessica and sister of the late Grace Prien, Kathleen Bereault, Albert Prien and Pauline Prien.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, September 19 at Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro from 4-7 p.m.

A funeral will be held from the funeral home on Monday, September 20 at 11 a.m. followed by a Mass at St. Mary’s Church of Transfiguration of the Lord Parish, 14 Park Street, North Attleboro, MA 02760 at noontime.  Burial to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Attleboro Falls.
