Arlon H. Piper on September 7, 2021

WRENTHAM – Arlon “Buzzy” Piper, 81, of Wrentham passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2021 at Newton Wellesley Hospital in Newton.  He was the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (Perrault) Piper.

Born February 17, 1940 in Attleboro, he was a son of the late Arlon and Lillian (Martin) Piper.

Arlon grew up in Norfolk and was a graduate of King Philip High School.

He worked at the Herman Shoe Company in Millis and Plimpton Press in Norwood before retiring from Halliday Lithograph in Plympton.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a longtime member of the Elk’s Lodge in North Attleboro and was an avid hunter.

He is survived by two sons: Arlon H. Piper III and Sean W. Piper both of Florida; Step-sons Raymond Merigold and Scott Merigold both of North Attleboro; his sister Judith Duquette and husband George of Wrentham and several nieces and nephews.

He was brother of the late Nancy Dufault.

Services will be held privately with burial at Mt. Hope Cemetery & Arboretum, Attleboro Falls.
