Rosemarie Zaborski, 74, on April 17, 2021

Rosemarie Zaborski,74, of Attleboro passed away Saturday April 17,2021 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Rosemarie was the cherished wife of Theodore J. Zaborski for 53 years before her death.

 

Born December 21,1946 in Boston, MA. She was the daughter of the late Francis and Anna (Kelley) Gauthier.

 

She was educated through Boston Public schools and graduated from Roslindale High School in 1964 where she mentored children through the junior achievement program. 

Rosemarie was a longtime resident of West Roxbury before moving to Attleboro in 2013.

 

Marie worked as a baker for many years and later in retail. She enjoyed being an active part of her community and served on the Oakhill Community Residents Association (OCRA) for several years. She enjoyed cooking and loved puzzles but most importantly spending time with her grandchildren.

 

In addition to her beloved husband, Ted, she is survived by her two daughters, Karen Coyle and her husband Sean of North Attleboro and Deborah Lochiatto and her husband Lenard. Rosemarie leaves behind her four grandchildren, Ryan Zaborski, Chloe Lynch, and Kelsey and Jack Coyle. She also leaves behind her cherished great grandson Brayden Zaborski. 

She also leaves behind her two devoted sisters, Carol Cardinale of Manchester, CT and Frances Gauthier of Bradenton, FL as well as many nieces and nephews.

 

Rosemarie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, godmother and aunt. She was a dear friend to everyone she met. The world will be a little duller without her bright smile and giving heart. 

 

Her funeral service, to which relatives and friends are most kindly invited to attend, will be held on Friday, April 23, 2021 at 6 PM in the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro, MA. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 4-6 PM.

 

Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

 

In accordance with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the CDC, COVID-19 guidelines will be observed.

 

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Rosemarie’s memory to the Sturdy Memorial Foundation, Inc., 211 Park Street, P.O. Box 2963, Attleboro, MA 02703-0963.
