Kevin H. McGowan, 67, on March 30, 2021

NORTH ATTLEBORO – Kevin H. McGowan, 67, of Pratt Lane passed away Tuesday morning, March 30, 2021 at home surrounded by his devoted family.  He was the loving husband of Kathy J. (McCretton) McGowan.

Born September 2, 1953 in Attleboro, he was a son of the late James and Ada (Hawes) McGowan.

Kevin was a lifelong resident of North Attleboro and has lived on Pratt Lane for over thirty years.

He earned an associate’s degree from Bristol Community College and later a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Roger Williams University.

He worked as a milkman, delivering milk for Bliss Bros. Dairy for many years and also as a manager at Namco Pools.

Kevin was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and a longtime member of the Elk’s Lodge where he served a term as Exaulted Ruler.  He also loved fishing.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Sean P. McGowan; a daughter Kelly J. Collupy; a sister Sandra Maher and husband Richard of North Attleboro; two brothers Ronald McGowan of Wisconsin and Terrance McGowan of Virginia;

Five granddaughters: Summer J. McGowan, Heather R. McGowan, Maddison L. Collupy, Morgan E. Collupy and Mackenzie J. Collupy and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, April 7 from 5-8 p.m. at Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro.

A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, April 8 from the funeral home at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass at St. Mark’s Church, 105 Stanley Street, Attleboro Falls at 10 o’clock.
