NORTH ATTLEBORO - Robbin M. King, 55, of North Attleboro, formerly of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro.
Born on September 21, 1965, she was a loving daughter of Frances (Waterson) Reynolds and the late Francis Reynolds, Sr.
Robbin grew up in North Attleboro and was a 1983 graduate of North Attleboro High School.
She was employed by various nursing homes and assisted living facilities in Massachusetts and in Virginia Beach as a Certified Nursing Assistant – Registered Medication Aide most recently at Christopher Heights in Attleboro until her health condition forced her to leave so that her residents could continue to receive the care they so deserve.
Robbin cherished the holidays, spending time with her family and friends, and visiting her work family and the residents of Christopher Heights. Her happy places were the mountains, camping, and the beach. There was never a dull moment when family and friends came together busting on each other and remembering all of the good times.
Besides her beloved mother, she leaves her devoted children: Rachael Cortes and her husband Angel of Virginia Beach, VA; and Michael King of Woonsocket, RI. She also leaves her adoring grandchildren: Domenic Cortes, Dezstanie-Mya Cortes, and Demetrius Cortes all of Virginia Beach, VA; and Bailian Pointer-King of Las Vegas, NV.
She was the dear sister of Sonna Ferns, Wendy McGoughlin, and Francis “Frank” Reynolds, Jr. and his wife Jackie all of North Attleboro.
She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as her “unofficial adopted daughter”, Paula Pendergrace of North Attleboro.
She was the sister of the late Vicki Gariepy.
The family would like to thank Dr. Latif and the oncology unit at Sturdy Memorial Hospital for all of their compassion and work.
Visitation, to which relatives and friends are most respectfully invited to attend, will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2020 from 10-10:45AM in the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church, 14 Park Street, North Attleboro.
