Brenda Keane 07/11/2020

NORTH ATTLEBORO – Brenda Keane, 66, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston surrounded by her devoted family.  She was the loving wife of David Keane for 32 years.

Born May 1, 1954 in Providence, RI, she was a daughter of Claire Miner and the late Ralph Miner.

Brenda grew up in Medfield and then moved to Wrentham to start her family.  She and David later moved to North Attleboro to raise her three children and spent 25 years enjoying her family from their home on Bulfinch Street in North Attleboro.

A lifelong student, Brenda proudly fulfilled the culmination of her academic pursuits with a degree in accounting from Johnson & Wales University.

She spent the last decade working at the Yena Center at Johnson & Wales.

As part of her lifelong commitment to education, Brenda was an integral member of numerous organizations, helping students find resources to further their own pursuits.

She loved animals beyond measure and her life was blessed with several pets over the years.  She loved few things more than a clear, mid-summer view atop the White Mountains, or from the rocky outcrops at Beavertail Lighthouse in Jamestown.  She is best known for her deftness and perspective from behind the lens of her 35mm camera, and the blossoming vitality of her home garden.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her siblings: Bill, John, Deirdre and Susan; as well as her three children: Sean, Alanna and her youngest Joshua.

Services will be held privately with burial at Union Cemetery in North Stonington, CT.
