NORTH ATTLEBORO – Richard A. Marcoullier, Sr., 75, passed away at home in North Attleboro on Sunday, June 7, 2020, with his family and dog by his side.
Richard is preceded in death by his wife Charlotte Marcoullier, his father Dona Marcoullier, his mother Evelyn Bascomb and stepfather Raymond Bascomb, and his brother Donald Marcoullier.
Richard is survived by his sons, Richard Marcoullier, Jr. of Attleboro, Joseph Marcoullier and wife Carin of North Attleboro; grandchildren Jesse Marcoullier and her partner Nicholas Charney, Josey and Tanis Marcoullier, and great-grandson Caleb Charney.
Richard was born on December 19, 1943 in Attleboro. He attended school in North Attleboro and Plainville until his graduation in 1962. After graduation, he became an electrician for a number of years before opening his own electrical business. He married Charlotte in 1965 and had two sons. Richard enjoyed running his successful business until he sold it and joined the IBEW Local 99 to continue his electrical education and become a Master Electrician. He worked with the IBEW until his retirement in 2008.
Richard was a member of the Swift Diamond Riders and enjoyed riding snowmobiles for most of his life. He also enjoyed traveling, motorcycling, making car salesmen question their career choices, hiking with his dog Max and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandson.
Services will be held on Saturday, June 27 from 3-6 p.m. at the Bocce Club in Woonsocket, RI.
