Alice M. (Shepherd) Rettman, 80, formerly of Franklin and more recently of Attleboro, our Mom, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, died peacefully in her sleep on 9 June 2020. Mom was the daughter of Ernest Joseph and Catherine (Warton) Shepherd of Dedham. Mom was predeceased by 7 brothers and sisters and one grandchild. Mom is survived by: John S. Rettman, 9 Children and their spouses: Robert F. Rettman (USMC RETIRED) and Bella Rettman, Suzanne Walker and Kevin Walker, Alice Zannotti, Judith Pasquino and James Pasquino, Cathleen Kelley and Tim Kelley, Patricia Rezza and Peter Rezza, Charles R. Rettman (USAF RETIRED) and Virginia Rettman, Laura Paulette and Jim Paulette, and John C. Rettman (US ARMY RETIRED) and Esin Rettman. Mom is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. Mom retired after working more than 30 years at Marshals in Franklin. Our hearts are heavy with grief and she will be dearly missed and loved for all eternity. Because of COVID 19 restrictions and concerns there will be a graveside service for family on Wednesday, 17 June at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Patrick's Cemetery in Whitinsville.
