ATTLEBORO – Albert Francis Brodeur, 85, of Attleboro passed away Friday, December 6, 2019 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of the late Eileen (Baldwin) Morrissey who passed away in 2014.
Born June 24, 1934 in Attleboro, he was a son of the late Joseph and Rose (Ducharme) Brodeur.
Al grew up in the Dodgeville neighborhood of Attleboro. He worked as a groomsman/horseman at various racetracks in California including Santa Anita Park thoroughbred racetrack in Arcadia.
He also worked as a cook at the former Brook Manor in North Attleboro for several years.
Al loved gardening and western movies.
He is survived by his good friends, Sue and Tom Hines of North Attleboro.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 12 at 9 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 130 South Street (Rt 1A), Wrentham. Burial will follow at St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Attleboro.
