Jeanne Swanson, 70, of Saugus, MA, formerly of North Attleboro and Pawtucket, RI, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 11th, 2019 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.


Born in Central Falls, RI on September 9th, 1948, she was a loving daughter of the late Normand and Joanna (Silva) Brousseau.


Jeanne was raised in Pawtucket, RI and attended school at St. Jean de Baptiste and was a 1966 graduate of Tolman High School. She went on to further her education, earning her Associate’s Degree in computer science from the Community College of Rhode Island.


She was employed for 25 years as a Senior Consultant at Software Systems Associates.


Jeanne loved spoiling her Lhasa Apsos. She also enjoyed knitting and playing cards. Most of all, Jeanne enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and she loved her children more than anything in the world. 


She is survived by her devoted children: Dawn Day and her husband Kevin of Pawtucket, RI; Eric J. Swanson of Hermosa Beach, CA; and Jill K. Danese and her husband Craig of Lynnfield, MA. 


She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren: Jeremy Swanson of Pawtucket, RI; James Veradt of Attleboro, MA; Hunter Swanson of Hermosa Beach, CA; and Madison Danese and Sydney Danese of Lynnfield, MA. 


She was the dear sister of Paula Dolan and her husband Owen of Mansfield. 


She was the former wife of James J. Swanson and the loving aunt of Casey Dolan and his wife Caitlin.


Relatives and Friends are Kindly invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated for Jeanne on Wednesday, July 17th, 2019 at 11 AM in St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church, 14 Park Street, North Attleboro.


Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, July 16th, 2019 from 5-7 PM at the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro.


Burial will take place privately at Mount Hope Cemetery & Arboretum in North Attleboro at the convenience of the family on a later date.
