Bill Georgopoulos, age, 65, passed away peacefully on Monday January 28th, 2019 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence, RI after a 4-year battle with brain cancer.
Born August 28, 1953 in Boston, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Theresa (Anderson) Georgopoulos.
Bill spent most of his younger years in the Allston/Brighton area before moving to North Attleboro in 2015.
He worked in the auto parts industry throughout his career.
Bill enjoyed spending time on the baseball/softball field watching his grandchildren. He also enjoyed bowling and spending time with family.
He is survived by his two daughters: Justine and husband Ernie Papineau and Krystal and husband Richie Leopold all of North Attleboro;
Three siblings: Theresa and husband Terrence Lydon of Brighton, Michael and wife Kathy Georgopoulos of Brighton and Gail Quinter of Leominster;
Three grandchildren: Matthew, Kasey and Anthony, whom he loved dearly;
His former spouse, Susan Holmes of Raynham. And many nieces and nephews whom he adored.
He was brother of the late Nicholas and Mark Georgopoulos.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, February 2 from 12noon to 2p.m. at Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro. A service will be held in the funeral home at the conclusion of visitation at 2 p.m. Burial is private.
