NORTH ATTLEBORO – Marie C. Harvey, 86, of Musket Rd. formerly of Plainville, passed away on Monday January 7, 2019 at Life Care Center Nursing Home in Attleboro. She was the beloved wife of the late Stanely F. Harvey before his passing in 1997.
Born on November 19, 1932 in Altoona, PA. she was the loving daughter of the late George and Minnie (Schroeder) Pielmeier.
She grew up in Washington, DC and graduated from the DC public school system.
She was a North Attleboro resident for over 40 years.
Marie was a homemaker and loved tending to her family. She was a selfless person always putting others first.
She was active in church and was best known for being part of the committee that made quilts for newborns and baby baptisms.
Marie enjoyed traveling and lived in many different parts of the country. She especially loved visiting national parks.
Marie is survived by her children: Kim Harvey and wife Virginia of Warwick, RI, Peter Harvey and wife Lynn of Glendora, CA. and Nancy Brodeur and her husband Ernie of Attleboro. Her cherished grandchildren: Amy, Daniel, Adam, Erika, Holly and Jonathan. Her adored great-grandchildren: Conner, Sophia, Aidan, Ethan and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers Robert Pielmeier and John Pielmeier.
Visiting for Marie will be held on Thursday January 10, 2019 from 4-7pm in the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home 15 Grove St. North Attleboro. A funeral will begin from the funeral home on Friday January 11, 2019 at 9am with a funeral service immediately starting at 10am in the Immanuel Lutheran Church 647 North Main St. Attleboro. Burial to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery, 565 Mount Hope St. North Attleboro.
